Zebudo — Terms of Use
Version 1, effective date: 2026-10-13
Zebudo is a logic puzzle game provided by Oleksii Kiselov ("we", "us"). Contact: support@zebudo.com, phone +34 641 591 909. Our legal notice is at https://zebudo.com/legal. These Terms apply when you install or use Zebudo on any device. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy at https://zebudo.com/privacy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the app.
1. The app and your licence. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Zebudo on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, within the usage rules of the store you got it from (App Store or Google Play). You may not copy, sell, modify or redistribute the app, or extract its source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
2. Age. You must be at least 13 years old to play Zebudo — or older if the law of your country sets a higher age for agreeing to online services on your own (14 in Spain). If you are under the age of majority in your country, your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you, and purchases require their permission. 3. Playing as a guest or with an account. You can play as a guest or sign in with Apple, Google or Facebook. Your progress (games played and won, your player icon) is stored on our server under a random identifier, so you can continue on another device after signing in. A guest's progress may be lost if the app is deleted before signing in. You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account); this deletes your account and the data linked to it — what remains is described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings (see section 6).
4. Hints, lives and other in-game items. Hints, extra lives and other in-game items have no monetary value. They cannot be sold, exchanged for money, or transferred to another player or account.
5. Ads. The game may show ads, including ads you choose to watch for a reward — for example, to get hints or to continue a game after losing your last life. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads; you can change your choice at any time in the app settings. If a rewarded ad fails to load or you close it early, the reward may not be granted. We block categories of ads we consider unsuitable, but cannot review every ad.
6. Purchases and subscriptions. Some features of Zebudo are paid. What a purchase includes, the names of the products and their prices (in your currency, including applicable taxes) are shown on the purchase screen and in the store before you buy. What you buy works in Zebudo for as long as we run the game (see section 9); it is sold either as a one-time purchase or as an auto-renewable subscription for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Purchases are made from Apple or Google under their terms; we do not receive your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period for the same length and price, unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; after cancellation the subscription stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. If a free trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. We may change the price of a subscription for future periods; the store will notify you in advance and, where its rules or the law require it, ask for your consent. If you do not agree with a new price, you can cancel before it applies.
Purchases are tied to the store account they were made with: a purchase made on the App Store does not unlock anything on Google Play and vice versa. To restore a purchase on a new device, use «Restore purchases» in the app while signed in to the same store account. If a purchase is refunded, what it unlocked is switched off (see section 7). 7. Withdrawal and refunds. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have the right to withdraw from a purchase or subscription within 14 days, except where the law allows this right to end once you have started using digital content at your request. Withdrawals and refunds are processed by the store you bought from (Apple: «Report a Problem» / your purchase history; Google Play: its refund policy), because the store is the seller. If a purchase is refunded, what it unlocked is switched off. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. Fair play. Please do not cheat or interfere with the game: no bots or automated play, no tampering with the app or its data, no exploiting bugs, no attacks on or unauthorised access to our servers. If we detect such behaviour, we may — in proportion to it — warn you, limit or suspend the account involved; you can contact us if you think we made a mistake. If you find a bug or an incorrect puzzle, please tell us with «Report a problem» in the game.
9. Changes to the game and to the service. We update Zebudo to fix errors, keep it secure, keep the game balanced (for example, how many hints you get and how they are restored), comply with the law and with store requirements, and develop new features and puzzles. Such changes are free of charge. If a change significantly and negatively affects your access to or use of what you have paid for, we will tell you in advance; you may then cancel within 30 days and we will help you request a refund for the unused period through the store. Zebudo needs an internet connection to receive new puzzles. If we ever decide to stop running the game, we will announce it in the app and on https://zebudo.com at least 90 days in advance and stop subscription renewals.
10. Our content. The game, its puzzles, graphics and texts belong to us or our licensors. Parts of the app use open-source components under their own licences; you can find them in the app (Profile → About). 11. Liability. We provide Zebudo with reasonable care and are liable under the applicable law. We are not liable for losses that are not caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence, for losses that neither you nor we could reasonably foresee when you accepted these Terms, or for failures outside our reasonable control (your network, your device, the store). Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury, for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity.
12. Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms when the law, the store rules or the game change. We will publish the new version at https://zebudo.com/terms with a new date (previous versions stay available) and tell you about important changes in the app in advance. For subscribers, important changes apply from the next renewal, and you can cancel before it.
13. Transfer of the game or of these Terms. We may transfer all or part of our rights and obligations under these Terms to someone else without your consent, provided that the transfer does not significantly disadvantage you. We will tell you about such a transfer in the app or at https://zebudo.com; your purchases, subscriptions and progress continue unchanged. Your own rights under these Terms are personal and cannot be transferred (section 1). 14. Law and disputes. These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country. You may bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence; we may bring a claim against a consumer only there. Please contact us first at support@zebudo.com: most concerns are resolved quickly. We are not a member of an alternative dispute resolution body; if we cannot resolve your complaint, we will tell you which body can consider the dispute.
